Each generation seems to have one, a day in which we all remember exactly where we were or what we were doing when we heard the news. For our grandparents, it was the day Pearl Harbor was attacked. For our parents, it was the day John. F. Kennedy was shot. For us, it is the day the World Trade Center and the Pentagon literally, came under attack.
On September 11,2001, a terrorist attack was carried out against the United States. It was unexpected, massive and more tragic than I think any of us ever imagined a terrorist attack could be..
Our hopes are that not only will the victims be recovered quickly so that they and or their families and friends may be brought closure, but that our government learns from this, and acts swiftly and severely in response to this unacceptable act of ignorance.
Our hearts and prayers go out to those who were affected by the loss of family and or friends in the 4 incidents.
We send out our deepest sympathy to all the victims families, and our thanks to those who are working so hard 24 hours a day in the recovery efforts.
God Bless
